Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, stack, and arrange materials and products. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse.
- Safely stack and arrange products in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Inspect forklifts for any defects or damage before and after each use, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials movement, utilizing computer systems as required.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, such as picking and packing orders or performing inventory counts, when necessary.
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Valid certification to operate a forklift, such as OSHA forklift certification.
- Excellent knowledge of forklift operations and safety procedures, including load capacity limits and stability.
- Ability to handle heavy materials and safely maneuver large equipment in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in organizing materials and stacking products.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

* Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
* Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
* Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
