Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/24/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel TotalMed Travel Order (1727714) Every Weekend Nights - Deaconess Midtown AUTO OFFER NO LOCAL CANIDATES ( Contract Length: 13 weeks Start: 1/27- Bi-weekly orientation Guaranteed Hours: 36 | Primary location: Midtown Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7 Every Weekend Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart)potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every weekend. Every other holiday. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: Post surgical -whipples, vascular, pre/post heart caths, bariatric, ENT, podiatry, open bellies. Dementia, AMS, CIWA/detox, q 2 hour turns, fall risks, thyroid surgeries Unit Information: 41 beds. Ratio: Days 1:5-6; NOCs 1:6-7; CN takes a patient assignment.
