Perform various functions related to the set-up, make ready, and tear down of winding operation. Involves hands on mechanical work to include but not limited to the following operations. Prep counter shields, make stick and tube assemblies, pre-load spacers, assemble vertical wind outs, bend, burn, anneal, clean, and wrap leads, remove coils from winding machine and up-end. Fill out any required paperwork. Keep work area safe, neat, and clean.
Tools and Equipment: Fork lifts, hand dolly, hydraulic lift, ladders, scaffolding, smoke eater, cranes, coil up-ender, band saws, power shears, sanders, planer, cut-off saw, torches, induction brazer, hand tools, power tools, hydraulics, measuring devices, rollers, and cylinder horn.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, hands and arms, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Salary Description
$22.95-$23.95/hr.
