Job Summary
The Vice President of Product at Crossover Health plays a pivotal role in guiding and executing the Product Strategy to drive innovation, launch and integrate new solutions, and support the company's growth and revenue goals. This position is a key contributor and unique to the business because Crossover's 'Product' integrates technology, operations and care delivery into a cohesive and interdependent model. Acting as both a bridge and catalyst, the VP of Product ensures seamless integration and collaboration among these functions to scale and enhance marketing and interdepartmental collaboration. The VP plays a critical, strategic role for the company in helping drive improvement in the fundamentals as a path to growth and innovation, scalability, and driving customer-focused, forward-thinking product leadership across the company.
Key areas of responsibility include: translating the vision and direction of Crossover's stakeholders into actionable and relevant product strategies, designing features, processes, and capabilities that align with the Company's 'quadruple aim' objectives in order to achieve specific engagement, growth and revenue targets. This role must be adept at collaborating with diverse partners across the organization to unify vision, strategy and execution into a cohesive action plan. The VP must also ensure timely delivery to meet the evolving needs of members, clients and the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision Execution Collaborate closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Chief Revenue Office (CRO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to define and align the product strategy and roadmap with company goals. Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality products that provide measurable value to members, providers, clients and the business, effectively balancing immediate execution and long-term innovation. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success across teams, initiative and product outcomes. Partner with the VP of Technology and engineering teams to ensure that product and feature development meet feasibility, scalability and security standards. Serve as a critical link between product teams, operations, clinical teams, and technology teams fostering alignment and ensuring seamless execution. Leverage market research, member feedback and competitive analysis to guide product development and inform strategic priorities. Advocate for design excellence, ensuring all products and services deliver a seamless, intuitive, and engaging member experience.. Promote user-centered design practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design thinking into organization processes. Marketing and Member Engagement
Lead a centralized marketing team in crafting and executing strategies to build sales pipelines, improve conversion rates, enhance market awareness, and drive member acquisition, retention and engagement Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design targeted marketing campaigns that support employer acquisition and retention efforts. Develop product marketing materials, sales collateral, and value propositions tailored to the needs of employer clients, brokers, and consultants. Enhance business development initiatives by delivering clear and compelling narratives that differentiate the organization's unique market position. Design strategies to increase brand awareness through events, webinars, white papers, and other market-facing initiatives. Analyze market trends and competitors to position the company as a leader in tech-enabled healthcare solutions. Utilize data-driven insights to craft impactful campaigns and messaging that resonate with members, clients, consultants and the market, delivering measurable results. Leadership and Team Management
Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team spanning design, product management, strategy, marketing, and member engagement to drive impactful results. Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability aligning team efforts with company objectives. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across all functions in order to build high-performing teams that consistently deliver success. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, or related field) Proven experience (10+ years) in product management, strategy, or marketing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within a healthcare or tech-enabled environment. Strong track record of delivering innovative products and driving both B2B and B2C marketing strategies. Deep understanding of healthcare technology, member experience, and regulatory environments. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakehol ders at all levels.
The base pay range for this position is $207,342.00 to $238,443.00 per year. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and 401K.
