Do you want to live in Chicago and practice emergency medicine (EM) where you can truly make a difference and earn great money? Curious about the role of a special operations team physician? A special ops physician is assigned to one ED at a time, providing quality care to patients. Our team physicians can count on continuous work due to planned assignments. If you are board certified or eligible in ABEM or AOBEM with emergency medicine residency training, you are just right for this role! TeamHealth will obtain any additional licenses and DEAs for the designated states if needed. Competitive compensation with a base salary of $300/hour to $320/hour with sign on bonus. This position will be independent contractor (1099) status and includes paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage. Are you a team player with excellent communication skills? Special Operations Team Northeast or Midwest TeamHealth special operations team members are credentialed at multiple emergency medicine client sites within a specified region and serve as clinical "top guns" for our clients. A special ops team member must be adaptive and possess excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude. Flexibility and the ability to travel are a must.
