RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

OUR IMPACT

Systematic Trading Strategy (STS) is a team of structurers and financial engineers whose objective is to design customized investment solutions for a broad range of financial institutions in order to meet their investment objectives. These may include large financial institutions, such as sovereign wealth funds, public and corporate pensions, insurance firms and private banks, all of which face complex financial problems which may be approached with systematic investment solutions. The STS Equity Volatility team is focused on the application of equity derivatives including broad-based index and single-name equity options as well as OTC instruments to such investment problems.

YOUR IMPACT

You will be part of the STS Equity Volatility team and hence focus on researching new strategy ideas and working with sales & clients to come up with customized solutions for them. Once an idea is developed and/or a client has decided on a specific solution for them, you will also work on the implementation of the strategies in combination with the STS Trading Strat / Quant and legal teams.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced professional that has some background in researching and developing option-based quantitative strategies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Strong academic background, prefer MS/PhD degree; ideally in quantitative subject such as applied/financial mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
  • Coding skills, ideally in more than one language.
  • Experience in quantitative investment strategies and equity derivatives.
  • Strong motivation to turn research into commercial impact.
  • High standards for research work quality, high level of rigor and discipline.
  • Intellectual curiosity, demonstrated interest in quantitative trading, market structure and behavior.
  • Team player, learning from others as well as sharing knowledge, desire to keep improving communication effectiveness.
  • This person will hold a key front-office role responsible for developing, maintaining and documenting systematic strategies and indices for investors in systematic strategies, with a particular focus on equity volatility strategies.
