Marketing Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Fair Trade Outsourcing, you will be a key driver of our business growth. Your main focus will be generating and qualifying leads to create a strong sales pipeline, enabling the sales team to close deals successfully. This role is crucial to the success of the sales team and the company's overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
•Proactively identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including research, social media (i.e. LinkedIn, cold calls, and email campaigns.
•Collaborate with the marketing team to pursue inbound leads and uncover new engagement opportunities.
•Qualify leads based on their fit with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and gather critical client information.
•Effectively articulate the value of our services to potential clients in a clear and compelling manner.
•Schedule and coordinate appointments, demos, and meetings for the sales team.
•Ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads to Account Executives and the VP of Sales.
•Build and nurture positive relationships with prospects through consistent, professional communication.
•Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of activities and prospects in the CRM system.
•Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation and qualification metrics to the sales leadership.
•Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to enhance outreach strategies.
•Share insights with sales and marketing teams to refine and improve overall strategies.
Requirements and Skills:
•1 - 2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative or similar role, with a track record of success in lead generation and qualification.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
•Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in CRM systems and sales automation tools.
•Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals.
•Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Salary 55,000 to 60,000 a year.
