Job Summary/Objective:
As the Regional Vice President of Sales East at Neo4j, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, sales strategy, and revenue generation within the East Coast region of the United States. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, AMER, you will lead and mentor a team of enterprise Account Executives, overseeing the development and execution of sales initiatives, client relationships, and strategic partnerships. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the graph database landscape, influence industries, and drive innovation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of enterprise Account Executives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business acquisition and expand existing customer relationships within the East Coast region.
- Drive team performance and productivity, ensuring sales targets and objectives are met and exceeded.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, executives, and stakeholders.
- Navigate complex sales processes and contract negotiations for large deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve overall business goals.
- Drive revenue growth and contribute to the company's success in a high-growth environment.
- Leverage your customer-facing skills to engage effectively with executives at Global 2000 companies.
- Utilize familiarity with cloud service providers, channel partnerships, and knowledge of Database as a Service (DBaaS) and the broader database market to explore growth opportunities.
Priorities:
- Implement metrics, systems, and processes to scale a product sales organization (playbooks, systems, KPIs, comp plans, team operations, forecasting, etc.).
- Establish a foundation for a scalable enterprise selling motion.
- Streamline the top of the funnel and scale the sales process through operational efficiency.
- Create actionable and effective pipeline generation plans within each territory encompassing all lead sources: sales generated, marketing, SDR, and partnerships.
- Drive net new and expansion growth by leveraging Neo4j's suite of new products to create profitable markets.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a Managing/Director/VP role in Enterprise SaaS sales.
- At least 5+ years of experience managing Strategic and Large Enterprise Account Executives/Managers.
- Proven track record of success in driving new business and expanding existing customer base.
- Demonstrated success in building, hiring, and scaling large enterprise sales teams.
- Experience operating in a high-growth business environment.
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Proficiency in navigating complex contract structures and handling large seven-figure deals.
- Strong history of quota attainment and exceptional performance within a high-achieving team.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with executives at Global 2000 companies.
- Contribution to a GTM transition and/or new product introduction.
- Enterprise Sales experience with mid six-figure ACV & 6 month+ sales cycles.
Bonus Areas:
- Familiarity or proficiency with cloud service providers and channel partnerships.
- Knowledge of Database as a Service (DBaaS) and the broader database market.
The annual on target earnings range for this position based in the United States is listed below. This range is an estimate, and the actual on target earnings may vary based on Neo4j’s compensation practices, job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Neo4j utilizes the full width of the range.
In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
Annual On Target Earnings Range:
$350,000 - $475,000 USD
