Position Overview & Responsibilities The position is part of a district-wide team of Licensed School Nurses and health paraprofessionals who work to support STMA schools, and will primarily serve Community Education. Responsible for identifying, removing, and remediating health-related barriers to learning and to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. Serves as a liaison between school, parents/guardians, and community in health-related matters. Start date: Immediate opening FTE: 1.0 FTE Schedule: Monday-Friday Assignment: 260 days/year Salary Range: $46,417.00 to $98,146.00 for the 186 days of the certified staff school year calendar, plus additional pro rata compensation for additional days in the summer, and other compensation for additional days during the regular school year.
Requirements & Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree in Nursing and all requirements of the MN Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) licensure as a school nurse (LSN). Two to four years of experience in an educational or public health environment required. One year of experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
