Triad Manufacturing is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Retail Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at TRIAD Manufacturing. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and developing high- quality fixtures for retail environments. You will work closely with our production team to ensure designs are both innovative and manufacturable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Development: Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks,

    ensuring designs meet specifications and client requirements.

  • Material Selection: Design components using both sheet metal and millwork, considering factors such as durability, cost, and aesthetic appeal.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and project management, to ensure alignment and feasibility of designs.

  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, changes, and specifications in SolidWorks PDM.

  • ERP Integration: Utilize Epicor ERP software to manage project timelines, material requirements, and production schedules.

  • Quality Assurance: Participate in product testing and evaluation to ensure designs meet safety and quality standards.

  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve design issues and challenges that arise during the manufacturing process.

    Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related

    field.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment, specifically focused on retail fixtures.

  • Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, and Epicor ERP Software.

  • Materials Knowledge: Proven experience designing with both sheet metal and millwork.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing

    processes, and design for manufacturability.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
