Travel Surg Tech - $1,381 per week in Wilmington, NC

Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Job Specialty: Surgical Services Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) Guaranteed Hours: To be determined Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: NC or Compact license (pending license acceptable for submission but required in-hand by the start date) Certifications: BLS and NBSTSA Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience - Eye surgery experience - Experience with all ages - Inpatient experience - Trauma experience - Skills in Scrub, Aseptic Technique, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ortho/Spine, Urology, Endoscopy/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Neuro/Spine Job Description: - RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may lead to contract cancellation. - Traveler Experience is not required; locals accepted with rate difference. - Preferred skills include experience in outpatient settings, Level I Trauma, teaching hospitals, transplant, bariatrics, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, ortho/total joints, and DaVinci Robot. - Job may involve potential call for 1 to 2, 12-hour shifts every 2 weeks as needed and may require weekend shifts as needed. - Staff will be assigned and expected to work on Storm/Hurricane Team in the event of a disaster, mass casualty, or catastrophic events. - Floating may be required across units based on skills and census. - Daily case load average is 80 across 22 rooms, supporting multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent surgical procedures. - Procedures include General, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Urology, ENT, OB/GYN, Plastics, Oral & Maxillofacial, Trauma, Dental, Pediatric, Neonatal, and Endoscopy Organ harvesting. - Use of DaVinci Robotic systems may be required. - Orientation will vary depending on experience; scrubs provided. - Interview availability is required for manager's consideration.
