This role involves traveling to hospitals, clinics, and long-term care centers to assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory disorders. You will collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with breathing difficulties, ensuring high-quality care in diverse clinical settings. Key Responsibilities: Assess patients' respiratory conditions and provide therapeutic interventions such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol treatments. Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, adjusting equipment and settings as needed to meet patient needs. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs) and pulmonary function tests (PFTs) to assess lung function. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized respiratory care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and the proper use of respiratory equipment. Respond to emergency situations, including Code Blue, to provide life-saving respiratory interventions. Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and sanitized for safe and effective patient care. Travel to different healthcare facilities, adapting to various clinical environments and patient populations.
