Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (00:00 - 08:00), Sunday to Thursday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Preferred: Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Outpatient, Level I Trauma, Level II Trauma. Teaching hospital experience, community hospital experience, LTAC experience, trauma Level I and Level II experience are preferred. Previous charge experience is a plus. License: State Licensed - Required Certifications: AART CT, BLS, IV Certification Must-Have: Siemens equipment experience, minimum of 1 year of experience Job Description: - Work with a variety of patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Work with unit systems including the Omnicell medication system. - Utilize required skills and equipment, specifically Siemens technologies. - Manage and display images using systems such as GE, PACS, Philips, and Toshiba. - Perform abdomen and pelvis imaging with and without contrast, including colorectal studies, enterography, intravenous pyelogram, and pelvis imaging. - Conduct chest imaging including chest with and without contrast, heart imaging for calcium scoring and coronary angiography, and vascular chest imaging for pulmonary embolism and CTA. - Provide head and neck imaging including carotid, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and trauma head imaging. - Create image displays and perform post-processing using 3D rendering, maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement. - Apply isolation precautions and manage preparation and/or administration of contrast media. - Practice radiation safety. - Use electronic documentation systems like EPIC. - Prepare for orientation with 21 hours of training.
