Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty: Radiology/Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Required, pending submission possible unless specified in the job title Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting Job Description: - Position will not float between units. - On-call is not required. - No weekend shifts are required. - Block schedules are required. - The expected patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1. - Scrub color can be any color, with specific colors provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units. - Travel candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as detailed in the job description. - Return staff policy requires a 3-month interval between permanent positions and travel assignments. - Providers may be required to float between sister facilities; refusal may result in termination of the assignment. - Communication devices needed for duties will be supplied as required by the client or reimbursed monthly if not provided. - Modules are non-billable, with an average completion time of 16 hours, and must be completed pre-start and annually. - Completion of modules is self-reported, recorded in Workramp transcripts. - Orientation consists of 40 hours, non-billable. - Flu vaccine status is unknown.
