Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: CT/X-ray Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8, 10, or 12-hour days/evenings, varied shift times (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.), every 3rd or 4th weekend (6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.), holidays as needed Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Not required for submission Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - X-ray and CT knowledge/skills - May need to use a C-arm for surgery in emergency cases Job Description: - No clinical involvement; may need to assist with radiology injections/biopsies if required. Training will be provided for this. - Perform various types of imaging/studies across different settings including ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, and operating room. - The facility is a critical access hospital and is stroke-designated, performing CTA's and handling traumas due to proximity to a major highway. - Work involves orthopedic imaging and procedures, given the nearby presence of an orthopedic clinic. - Use EPIC for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and McKesson for Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). - Work with department-specific equipment such as Siemens 128-slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C. - A Radiology Supervisor or Director is available during the day, and can be reached after hours if needed. - Shifts and schedules are set by the Director and may vary based on departmental needs. - Weekend work is typically every third or fourth weekend. - Call or standby duties depend on the schedule and staffing levels.
