Controls Technician
to join their team and contribute to delivering exceptional results. RESPONSIBILITES
Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair building automation and control systems in the field. Program and configure control systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems. Perform field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper functionality. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate system installations. Work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to complete projects effectively and efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, programming changes, and system upgrades. Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients. Adhere to all safety standards and company policies while on job sites.
QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience as a Controls Technician in field positions. Strong understanding of building automation and control systems, including programming and troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members. Experience in non-union environments is preferred.
