Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Strategic Account Director to join our MONARCH business. This is a field-based role with the flexibility for candidates located anywhere in the United States.

At Johnson & Johnson Med Tech, we’re changing the trajectory of health for humanity, using robotics to enhance healthcare providers’ abilities and improve patients’ diagnoses, treatments, and recovery times. Johnson & Johnson Robotics was established in 2020 with the integration of Auris Health, Verb Surgical, C-SATS, and Ethicon.

Overview:

The Strategic Account Director for Monarch will lead a team of managers responsible for our most critical strategic and academic accounts. This individual will be instrumental in strengthening our relationships with these key customers, creating opportunities to expand Monarch's footprint and become deeply embedded within pulmonology fellowship and residency programs.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and communication of the Monarch sales strategy to increase revenue and market share in a defined territory of key accounts.
  2. Manage strategic accounts team inclusive of Academic Health, IDNs, and Technical Sales Team.
  3. Lead the sales strategy in collaboration with the Business Unit Leader, National Sales Directors, field sales team, and the internal Monarch teams.
  4. Achieve quarterly and fiscal year revenue targets.
  5. Move strategic customers from current state to a trusted key partnership.
  6. Build a strong Monarch brand and relationship at the Service Line Administrator and C-Suite level.
  7. Facilitate key sales activities with the Monarch sales team.
  8. Identify key customer needs and partner with the Monarch Sales Team and internal corporate teams.
  9. Collaborate with the Business Unit Leader and Sales Directors to coach local sales teams.
  10. Implement a thorough account planning process.
  11. Co-develop a strategic business plan.
  12. Perform quarterly business reviews in collaboration with the Monarch Sales management team.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years relevant healthcare experience required.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of key account leadership required.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of cross-functional experience preferred.
  4. Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate technical product and clinical knowledge.
  5. The ability to travel extensively up to 75% is required.
  6. Self-starter who performs well with autonomy and can think critically in high-pressure environments.
  7. Proven ability to articulate customer needs and feedback.
  8. Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 - $251,850.

This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.
