JOB SUMMARY: The Continuous Improvement Director is responsible for leading and implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. This role focuses on driving process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Responsibilities: Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

Develop and execute strategic plans for process improvement projects across manufacturing, operations, and supply chain functions. Process Analysis & Optimization:

Analyze current manufacturing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality. Lean & Six Sigma Methodologies:

Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing training and mentorship to team members. Data-Driven Decision Making:

Collect, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), presenting insights and recommendations to leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with departments such as Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to align and integrate improvement strategies. Training & Development:

Develop and deliver training programs to build a culture of continuous improvement and ensure employees at all levels are engaged in waste-reduction activities. Project Management:

Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget constraints. Problem-Solving:

Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving workshops to address complex issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Sustainability Efforts:

Establish and maintain sustainability measures to ensure long-term success of implemented improvements. Culture:

Ability to walk the production floor, lift up to 25 lbs., and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Travel Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Continuous Improvement or Process Engineering role, preferably within an EMS or electronics manufacturing environment. Certifications:

Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) required. Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and process mapping. Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus. Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and influence stakeholders. Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, coach and mentor employees, and drive change management. Problem-Solving Abilities:

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the capability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions. Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with data analysis software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
