First-timers accepted Charting preferred: EPIC Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Special Requirements: We perform inpatient, ER and scheduled interventional cases (Saturday only). Required skills: be able to start IV, Contrast, Biopsies, PACS system.
About the position
Position/Specialty: CT Tech
The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician
Shift: Friday-Sunday 6p-6:30a
Is on-call REQ? Yes – call is every 3rd week M-Thu 5p-6a
Will this traveler float between service lines? No

National Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), as well as Computed Tomography and South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS also required.
Minimum Training and Education: Graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation.
Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
Equipment Experience Preferred: Philips, Toshiba Miscellaneous
Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed.
