Network Engineer- IMS,VOIP and Cable Domain-Onsite

Job Title: Solutions Architect - Networking, Voice, and Cable Domain Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with over 15 years of experience in networking concepts, voice platforms, and cable domain technologies. This role combines technical leadership with a customer-focused approach, serving as the primary point of contact for customers to manage complex requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of networking protocols, NFV, SDN, voice systems, and cable technologies, along with the ability to collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities * Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. * Collaborate with senior customer stakeholders to gather, analyze, and understand complex business and technical requirements, translating them into high-level technical specifications and actionable deliverables. * Provide expert-level knowledge in networking concepts, architecture, components, protocols, technologies, and methods to deliver scalable and innovative solutions. * Possess in-depth knowledge of voice platforms, IMS, and VoIP protocols to understand customer requirements and guide internal teams in delivering tailored solutions. * Demonstrate a strong understanding of cable domain technologies such as DOCSIS, GPON/PON, HFC architecture, FTTx, and CMTS systems to effectively support and deliver customer-focused solutions. * Leverage expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, including Ethernet, MPLS, SD-WAN, Switching/Routing, BGP, and other core networking technologies to design and implement high-performance network architectures. * Utilize knowledge of containerized environments with tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes to deliver modern and efficient network solutions. * Lead the design, planning, and execution of network architecture projects while managing multiple priorities and complex issues. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and business objectives. * Demonstrate leadership and consultative skills to build consensus among stakeholders and deliver high-quality results. * Balance business and technical considerations to achieve targeted business outcomes and drive successful project delivery. * Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on results. Qualifications * Education: o Bachelor's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. * Experience: o 15+ years of experience in networking, cable domain technologies, and associated protocols. o Proven experience in voice platforms, including IMS and VoIP protocols. o Strong expertise in cable technologies, including DOCSIS, GPON/PON, HFC architecture, FTTx, and CMTS systems. o Extensive experience with NFV and SDN technologies for virtualized and software-driven network solutions. o Demonstrated ability to work with customers to gather and analyze requirements. o Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders. * Skills: o Strong understanding of networking technologies, cable domain operations, and associated protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, MPLS, VoIP, DOCSIS). o Expert understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, including Ethernet, MPLS, SD-WAN, BGP, and Routing/Switching. o Proficiency with containerized environments using Docker and basic Kubernetes orchestration. o Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and complex issues. o Ability to align customer requirements with internal technical teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions. o Exceptional communication, consultative, and negotiation skills to foster collaboration across technical and business stakeholders. o Proficient in tools for project management and documentation. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large-scale projects in telecom, cable, or enterprise environments. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are a plus.
