Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate - Gaithersburg, MD Position Type : Amazon Fresh offers various scheduling options designed to work for you. Shift availability is dependent on operational needs. Full-time (30-40 hours per week) Part-time (20-29 hours per week) Flex-Time (0-19 hours per week). Must be available 2 weekdays between Monday-Friday and 1 weekend day/evening between Saturday-Sunday. Work Address : 15790 Shady Grove Rd, Gaithersburg, MD, 20877 Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour Availability Requirements: Full-time: Shift availability required 5 days per week, including Saturday and Sunday Part-time: Shift availability required 3 days per week, including Saturday and Sunday Flex-Time: Must be available 2 weekdays between Monday-Friday and 1 weekend day/evening between Saturday-Sunday. Shifts are between 4 a.m. and 12 a.m. and may be up to 8 hours long Certain shifts require up to 40 hours per week during your training period. Once training is complete, standard scheduling will begin. You will be compensated for the training period at the hourly rate shown in your offer letter. Job Responsibilities As an Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate, your primary responsibility is to deliver an extraordinary grocery shopping experience for our customers. We’re seeking individuals who have a passion for customer service and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your daily tasks may include: Customer Engagement: Greet customers and engage in friendly conversations. Product Knowledge: Offer product recommendations and provide information to help customers make decisions. Checkout Operations: Use cash register to ring up transactions and assist customers in self-service checkout lanes. Return Processing: Receive and process in-store and Amazon.com returns. Fresh Food Preparation: Prepare fresh food items such as cold salads, pizzas, rotisserie chickens, and sandwiches. Store Presentation: Stock shelves and maintain a clean sales floor. Inventory Management: Unload product deliveries and organize stockroom. Order Fulfillment: Pick items to fulfill customer grocery orders for pickup and delivery.
