Temporary Electro-mechanical Assembler

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electromechanical components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Your expertise in soldering, basic math, and reading technical drawings will be essential to ensure the highest quality of assembled products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electromechanical components and sub-assemblies by following detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and prints.
  • Perform soldering tasks to connect wires, components, and other parts as required.
  • Ensure that assemblies meet the required quality standards and tolerances.
  • Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting as part of the assembly process.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine assembly requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
  • Maintain an organized work area and ensure proper storage and handling of parts and components.
  • Complete necessary documentation for work performed, including assembly logs and testing records.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Using pressurized dead weight systems to calibrate products and perform final tests.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering, or a related field is required.
  • Skills:

    • Proficient in soldering techniques for both through-hole and surface-mount components.
    • Basic math skills, including the ability to measure and calculate dimensions, quantities, and tolerances.
    • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
    • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in written and verbal English is required to read instructions, understand safety procedures, and communicate with team members.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, sit, or kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical testing equipment and techniques.
