Mechanical Engineer

Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Harleysville, PA Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 Base Salary Annual Company Bonus Plan 401k match Benefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits Package Position Description : Looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will prepare HVAC and plumbing construction drawings, details, and schedules. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and design building HVAC and plumbing systems. Read and interpret HVAC and/or plumbing plans and specs. Provide information to our estimators relative to the bid packages. Interact with customers to understand their building usage and internal processes to build a system that meets their needs. Document systems design in Revit. Engineering analysis work, including load calculations, equipment, pipe/duct sizing, etc. Building BIM/3D models and coordination of the models with both internal and external team members. Must be self-directed, highly motivated, and organized with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience with the BIM process, including software, document exchange, and project coordination will be helpful. Excellent project management, interpersonal communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to operate efficiently both independently and as part of a team with minimal direction from the manager. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Strong computer knowledge including experience with AutoCAD and MS Office suite is required. Requirements: 3-4 years of years of experience in the commercial construction engineering field, preferably in the HVAC and or plumbing fields. Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Experience with Revit is preferred.
