Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Test Engineer - Off-Highway Machines Are you looking for a role where you can use your knowledge of HIL test of electronic controls to make a difference off-highway machine applications? We have a position for an experienced HIL test engineer to work on verification and validation tests, documenting and analyzing the results on embedded software controls and calibration. What You Will Be Doing Technical documentation Regression testing Developing test plans, executing, documenting, etc Create, Maintain and perform regression tests. Testing, configuration, and release of control software which involves new feature introduction and well as current feature support. Submit PRCR's to document software issues discovered in the field. Create and maintain regression tests for group's components. Test systems using the appropriate diagnostic tools with real-time test bench capability. Support FMET (Failure Modes Effect Testing) via Systems test team. Support engine/vehicle trouble-shooting on related diagnostic fault codes. Participate in DV and PV test results reviews. System Test/Documentation/Support tasks. Create and maintain ESW test components. Embedded software testing when necessary. Automated testing, using ACCEPT bench. Industrial engine calibration Industrial engine system test Engine control system familiarization (highly desired) Six-Sigma/7-step/FMEA troubleshooting Experience with LUIS or manual load test boxes ACCEPTS automated system test experience is preferred. Validation/Verification Test Plans of hardware and software features (required) Good communicator - written and verbal An effective problem solver who is comfortable using analytical tools.
