Role Overview As a Technical Lead Engineer, you will take the helm in designing and leading the development of the company’s AI SaaS platform. Working closely with a team of talented engineers, you’ll be responsible for defining the platform’s architecture, managing core platform services, and ensuring seamless integration. This is a leadership role where you’ll mentor junior engineers and drive the success of a platform that has the potential to revolutionize healthcare. Key Responsibilities Define and implement the overall architecture for the company’s AI-powered SaaS platform. Lead the development of core platform services and ensure seamless integration across systems. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. Collaborate with the engineering team to produce comprehensive technical documentation. Oversee project timelines, milestones, and ensure successful delivery of platform features. Mentor junior engineers, guiding best practices and technical solutions. Contribute to the company’s infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies. Skills Needed to Succeed in this Role 8 years of relevant industry experience, with proven leadership in directing engineering teams. Production experience with generative AI applications or platforms at scale. Expert proficiency in Python and solid experience with TypeScript or Java, along with knowledge of modern compiled languages like Go or Rust. Deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Expertise in one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and solid understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform). Expert knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools. Experience with scaling tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. Willingness to work on-site in Palo Alto 3 days per week. Nice-to-Haves Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with all three major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS), with significant experience in GCP preferred. Knowledge of front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
