Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Fort Worth, TX We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the electrical design of various projects, including commercial, municipal, multi-family, healthcare, government, institutional, industrial, and historic structures. You'll work closely with senior engineers and the project team throughout the design and construction phases, adapting electrical plans to meet project requirements and client needs. Responsibilities: Assist in the electrical design of projects from conceptual phase through construction administration. Collaborate with the electrical design team, ensuring project success and quality. Prepare electrical specifications and review submittals in coordination with other engineering disciplines. Apply knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, industry standards, and codes. Help find solutions to design challenges and ensure compliance with project requirements. Support construction administration, including field observations and resolving design-related issues. Build relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimates, and tracking project performance. Collaborate with senior engineers and provide support in the Quality Control process. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project execution. Assist with RFQs, bid summaries, and purchase recommendations. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or eligibility to obtain within one year, is required. Must have the ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas within 1–2 years. 2–4 years of experience in electrical engineering within an MEP consulting environment. In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and IEEE standards. Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to resolve design challenges effectively. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Experience in reviewing engineering documents and specifications.
