Field Application Engineer

Job Description: Delta’s DC/EC fan product lines provide high-airflows combined with efficiency and low noise, contributing to different applications, e.g. building HVAC, precision cooling and industrial applications. You will be responsible for assisting in selecting and specifying DC/EC fan product solutions. Ability to understand a customer’s needs, probe for answers, and then determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer. Programming and reprograming of fans either at Delta Fremont CA or at customers job sites or locations. Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams in Asia. Performing the desired tests and installation procedures: Preparing detailed schedule regarding the project specification, researching market trends in field application, and analyzing the emerging trends for recommending the new application engineering products. Strong communication and organizational skills. Capacity to identify risks and raise issues with relevant stakeholders Quick learner and flexible to adopt of company working culture and processes Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering is required 3 year’s professional experience as a Field Applications Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar role in IT Company. Experience with the fan/passive thermal solutions is required Ability to write and speak about the technical subject matter to other engineering disciplines Hands-on experience applying a variety of fan/ thermal components. Mandarin speaking is highly desired.
