Firmware Engineer

Firmware Engineer – AR/VR Wearables (San Diego) We’re looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our team in San Diego and help optimize power and performance for wearable AR/VR devices. You’ll work on embedded systems, focusing on RTOS , embedded ML , and power optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve device efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for wearable devices with a focus on power and performance. Integrate and optimize ML models (PyTorch, TensorFlowLite) for embedded systems. Conduct power analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve energy efficiency. Collaborate with hardware teams to develop power management strategies. Create test plans and troubleshoot hardware-software interactions. Qualifications Required: Strong experience with RTOS , C/C++ programming, and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO). Proficiency in power measurement and optimization. Embedded ML experience, including model compilation and deployment. Preferred: Experience with low-power design and optimization algorithms. Scripting skills in Python .
