Process Control Engineer

Process Controls Engineer Pay: $70-$77/hr Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or chemical engineering • 3-5 years’ experience in Process Control Engineering field Application Experience: - DCSs (Honeywell, Experion) - Batch programming (S88 standards) - PLCs (Allen Bradley, Control Logix) - Field instrumentation knowledge Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Prior oil and gas, refinery, manufacturing or plant experience Job Description We are seeking a Process Controls Engineer for a 12–18-month assignment at a natural gas power plant. The role involves providing daily engineering support for plant operations and the Process Control System (PCS), which includes the Distributed Control System (DCS), Process Control Network (PCN), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Key responsibilities include troubleshooting instrumentation/electrical issues, performing alarm management assessments, and leading remediation efforts. This person will also manage instrumentation/electrical projects and ensure compliance with industry codes and standards. Experience with Honeywell DCS, TPS, and Experion is preferred. This position requires rotational 24-hour support coverage, typically 6-8 times per year.
