Job Title: Structural Engineer - Urgent Hire Location: Dallas, TX Industry: Structural Engineering Experience Level: 5-10 Years About the Role: I am actively seeking a Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join medium size firm with lots of stability in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building design , specifically with prestressed and post-tension concrete structures , and a focus on multifamily buildings . This is an urgent hire, so we're looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities: Lead structural design efforts for multifamily and commercial building projects. Develop and review structural calculations, plans, and drawings. Perform detailed analysis of concrete, steel, and other building materials. Provide oversight of project design to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes. Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution. Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical expertise to project teams. Prepare and review reports, specifications, and proposals for clients. Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (required). PE (Professional Engineer) License (required). 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design , prestressed/post-tension concrete , and multifamily projects . Strong proficiency with structural analysis and design software. Excellent understanding of local and national building codes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and deadlines are met. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and clients.
