BCT is in search of an Electrical Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity located in Addison, TX with our client in the Luxury Jets Industry. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical & FPGA design and development of prototype and production units covering an entire cycle from concept/detailed design to manufacturing release of "high-end" products and systems for the most discerning customers. Carry out detailed electrical design work including analog, digital, & FPGA design, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing & verification, & manufacturing release. Conceive, research, and implement engineering design changes yielding improvements in manufacturability and robustness in coordination with sustaining engineering team. Produce and maintain technical documentation including HALT summaries, test procedures, qualification test reports, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) 3-7 years of electrical and FPGA design experience Experience with microprocessor and/or DSP-based designs and network/Ethernet design Experience with hardware diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc. Ability to understand and apply functional & technical specifications, datasheets, hardware manuals, etc. to electrical designs Ability to coordinate with the other discipline Engineers (ME & SE) within the department to produce multidisciplinary design solutions Schematic Capture & PCB Layout: Experience with OrCAD Capture/Allegro PCB Designer or similar toolset (will be required to use OrCAD/Allegro) FPGA/ASIC design experience (will be required to use Xilinx FPGAs & toolset) Apply now CP 8419
