Metrology Technician

Career opportunity as a Metrology Technician with an established manufacturer of pharmaceutical products in the Greenville, SC area. Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or computer engineering is desirable along with 6 months experience in calibrations, measurements, precise measuring equipment in a QC Lab setting. Strong attention to detail, documentation and instrument repair will be important for this role. About the company: Pharmaceutical Manufacturer in the Greenville, SC area has a 300,00 ft facility that is CGMP compliant. Produces a multitude of various products as well as in house R&D. Responsibilities of Metrology Technician Calibration Assistance - Perform routine calibration of various instruments based on established schedules and regulatory requirements Instrument Repair - Perform minor repairs of laboratory equipment as required Documentation - Ensure that records are accurate and comply with company and industry standards. Participate in ongoing training to remain up to date on metrology practices, procedures and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: Engineering, Sciences or Computer degree 6 months experience is preferred as a Metrologist Strong attention to detail to include documentation within CGMP guidelines Organized and self-motivated
