Lab Technician IV Location: Milpitas, CA (100% on-site) 3-Month Assignment (potential to convert / extend) Pay: $44-46/ HR Our client, a prominent global computer technology company recognized for its SSDs, USB flash drives, and memory card products, is looking to hire a Lab Technician IV to join their team. Responsible for performing a variety of technical duties within the test lab, you will be part of a growing team developing the next generation of advanced memory products. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform measurements using various electrical test equipment and wafer probers. Follow operating instructions for each test and log parameters. Adjust parameters or tool settings if needed. Collect data and summarize the results. Make decisions depending on the results for next steps. Troubleshoot when needed (both hardware and software). Provide reliable maintenance, repair as requested and develop as instructed. Contribute to the team proactively in the lab. Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics plus 3 year of related experience or Associate’s degree in Electronics plus 5 years of practical experience. Experience with standard test & measurement equipment and practices. Experience with probe stations such as Accretech(UF-3000) with loading and aligning the wafer, setting the temperature and running the tests. Experience with semi-automatic probers with probe alignment. Able to handle wafers, cleaved them if needed. Eager to learn new tests and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with scripting especially in Python. Ability to work closely with tool vendors and service providers for debugging or troubleshooting. Preferred Qualification: Ability to use basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters and parametric analyzers, network analyzers, power supplies and source measurement units. Experience with probe card and loadboard verification and calibration. Experience with solder and rework. Knowledge of connectors, communication protocols and cables. Experience with National Instrument Test Equipment (PXI) and Automated Test Equipment (Advantest). Please submit your resume in word or PDF format to be considered.
