Responsibilities Develop and implement injection molding processes to produce top-quality products. Serve as a subject matter expert on Arburg and Cincinnati machines. Create and maintain a preventive maintenance program. Design and optimize mold programs, focusing on glass-filled and mineral-filled thermoplastics. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop molds tailored to machinery requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Troubleshoot and resolve molding process issues; maintain machine parameter databases. Train and mentor production staff on molding processes. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in injection molding process development. Expert-level proficiency with Arburg and Cincinnati machines (Screwburg familiarity is a plus). Proficient in MS Office; SolidWorks experience preferred. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
