We are currently seeking an experienced Traveling Quality Control Manager within the federal construction sector. In this role, you will oversee quality control on large-scale federal projects for agencies such as Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), NAVFAC, and others. These projects include veterans' hospitals, military facilities, and critical infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with federal contract specifications and quality control standards. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control programs specific to federal projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve any quality issues that arise, maintaining high standards throughout the project lifecycle. Review and approve all materials, testing, and inspection reports to ensure alignment with contract specifications, industry codes, and government standards. Maintain detailed documentation of quality audits, inspections, and corrective actions for compliance reporting. Lead and mentor on-site quality control teams to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards. Ensure strict adherence to all federal and local regulations during construction processes. Qualifications: 5 years of experience in quality control management, ideally on large-scale federal construction projects for agencies like VA, USACE, and NAVFAC. CQM-C Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) is required. Strong experience managing quality on complex projects, such as federal office buildings, military bases, hospitals, and other critical infrastructure. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with a focus on federal regulations and compliance. Willingness to travel to various project locations nationwide. Compensation/Benefits: Base Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year Bonus: 5-15% Benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Travel Allowance, Per Diem, Phone or Phone Allowance This is a traveling position, requiring frequent site visits to federal construction projects across the country.
