Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer Location: Mendon, MI Industry: Automotive Supplier Seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join a leading automotive supplier located in Mendon, MI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in controls engineering and manufacturing, with a focus on robotics, vision systems, and electrical troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support controls engineering projects, ensuring optimal functionality and integration of systems. Perform electrical troubleshooting, including AC/DC circuits, sensors, and communication devices. Integrate advanced technologies such as machine vision, robotics, hydraulics, and servo systems into existing equipment. Program and troubleshoot robots (Fanuc and ABB preferred). Requirements: 5 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing, with related controls expertise. Proficiency in assembly processes and managing multiple projects. Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and updating electrical prints using AutoCAD. Experience with Keyence or Cognex vision systems. Familiarity with AC/DC power circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, and MES systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with DC torque tool interfaces and automated assembly equipment. Expertise in machine vision systems and robot programming (Fanuc and ABB). No Sponsorships at this time.
