Sr. Trade Marketing Manager We are seeking a Sr. Trade Marketer to lead Sunkist’s retailer marketing initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving new growth by building account marketing programs and recruiting new customer acquisition to impact business growth. In a shopper marketing expert role, while leveraging category, consumer, shopper, retail, and brand strategies, your primary mission will be to lead customer marketing programs and increase collaboration with our retail accounts in our trade portfolio. With a customer service heart and mindset, you’ll attract and develop account relationships to deliver high-value, data-driven trade, category, and consumer marketing insights for win-win outcomes. We’re seeking an account manager with both an analytical and storytelling talents. Who has a drive to find new business opportunities, relishes providing value, and strives for win-win outcomes for customers and the company. The Sr. Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Category Management & Marketing, join a team of eight, and lead a team of two direct reports. Here’s what you’ll do: Trade Marketer: Elicit and extract insights from data intelligence to inform customer support and marketing strategies Translate data intelligence into compelling storytelling messaging to communicate opportunities to retail customers Build and execute customer-specific trade marketing strategies, including advertising, promotions, in-store merchandising tactics, point-of-sale materials, and retailer-driven initiatives Monitor campaign performance, track ROI, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize results Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in partnership marketing to drive innovation and competitive advantage Account Manager: Cultivate and expand relationships with key retailers by helping them achieve impactful results; foster engagement and collaboration Serve as the shopper expert by educating retailers on shopper behaviors and general category intelligence; advise on best practices and campaign enhancements Design and implement retail strategies that aligns with our marketing goals and enhances brand visibility Leadership: Lead, mentor and develop a two member specialist team Collaborate with Category Management, Brand Marketing, and Sales, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and achieve company retail goals Partner with the Shopper agency to communicate the Sunkist brand goals into the retail framework; relay fact-based selling insights that increases consumer reach and brand awareness. Communicate and align with senior leaders on trade planning Business Administration: Interpret and analyze seasonal citrus crop data to identify opportunities for growth Assess business landscape and analyze market conditions to identify opportunities and make recommendations for growth strategies Create and implement growth strategies Manage and optimize the Trade Marketing budget Provide regular reporting to leadership on trade marketing performance Here’s What You’ll Bring: Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer, Shopper, or Trade Marketing, Category Management, or general Account Management Knowledge in consumer behavior and in-store marketing best practices Understanding of retailer marketing Success in growing customer relationships, contributing value, earning trust and delivering strong growth results Sharp analytical thinking; ability to read intelligence data, extra insights, formulate and create fact-based strategies for customer accounts A terrific communicator who can clearly articulate data intelligence and craft a compelling and succinct selling story for trade Inspire support for trade marketing to external and internal stakeholders Ability to develop and execute marketing growth strategies to key accounts Team management experience; a natural leader who enjoys developing and mentoring talent in professional growth Influencer to engage all levels of partners to mobilize support for key initiatives. Ease with in work environment that has changing priorities and deadlines An entrepreneurial spirit; Proficiency with Nielsen and other syndicated data Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM systems Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
