Position: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, component upgrades, and winterization.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems to determine repair needs.
• Conduct repairs on a variety of systems, including powertrains, brakes, steering, hydraulics, and air conditioning.
• Use technical software and tools for diagnostics and repairs.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Work collaboratively with shop personnel, management, and fleet administrators.
• Continuously enhance your skills through training and educational opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A valid drivers license.
• Preferred: 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience or a degree in Diesel Technology or a related field.
• Background in construction mechanics is a plus.
• Basic tool collection.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a self-starter mindset.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Dependability, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 60 lbs. and 25 lbs. regularly.
• Perform repetitive movements and work in various weather conditions.
• Stand, sit, kneel, bend, and climb ladders as needed.
