Busy construction litigation law firm is in need of a senior legal administrative assistant. This position includes a wide variety of responsibilities, including, assisting with monthly client billing, opening new matters, filing, assisting with answering phones, providing support for attorneys in our Charlotte, NC office, assisting paralegals with daily mailings, court filings and overall administrative assistance. 

Experience in litigation is required, above average typing skills, including proper formatting, proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, ability to interact with clients, ability to multi-task and prioritize. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct non-billable research and writing tasks
• Assistant attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Assist with administrative tasks reviewing and revising construction contracts and related agreements after attorney review and mark-up
• Obtain, organize, and store client information and client documents
• Manage hard copy and electronic client matters and files.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in litigation practice
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
