Job Description
Amuneal's People + Culture Business Partner supports the business in both strategic and tactical ways. The position partners with leaders in our Technical Products and Architecture & Design divisions to deliver value-added service that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
The position also drives daily activities in support of Amuneal's people and culture, including but not limited to; sourcing for key positions and partnering with the leaders who drive those selection decisions, onboarding of new hires, leading employee engagement activities, conducting ER investigations, supporting Amuneal's annual review process both as systems guru and as trainer/facilitator, and enforcing company policies and practices through the administration of Amuneal's Company's handbook.
Duties/Responsibilities:Sourcing, Recruiting, Onboarding
- Performs direct sourcing for key positions, partners with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Supports hiring managers in the identification, selection and onboarding of qualified job applicants.
- Cultivates and manages relationships with third party agencies in order to fill high volume direct labor roles in a timely manner.
- Partners with Finance to ensure background checks and employee eligibility verifications are conducted accordingly.
- Facilitates (and seeks to improve) Amuneal's new hire orientation process, ensuring new hires understand Amuneal's history, culture, values and expectations.
Employee Engagement
- Serves as a "steward" of Amuneal's culture through supporting employee recognition programs and affinity group activities.
- Analyzes survey data and makes recommendations to the business to Improve Amuneal's culture.
Business Partnership
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate on matters related to their teams (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, progressive discipline notices).
- Performs routine administrative tasks related to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; progressive counseling and refers complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate leadership staff member.
Strategic Thinking & Compliance
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including Amuneal's HRIS, employee surveys, exit interviews, competitor's practices and partners with the VP of People + Culture to identify and analyze KPIs that inform Amuneal's people strategy, programs, initiatives and policies.
- Makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve Amuneal's culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Prior experience facilitating an HRIS implementation, system change or system integration.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of Amuneal's org chart, jobs, qualifications, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 5-7 years of full-cycle human resource management experience preferred.
- Manufacturing, shop, warehousing, magnetic shielding, architecture & design, furniture + fabrication experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain an office and shop floor presence.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
