Senior Mechanical Engineer

Calvary Robotics is a growing Robotic Systems Integrator. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Greenville SC facility. The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for preparing original detailed mechanical designs of unusual, complex, for the assembly and test of customer components. Typical Day Concept and develop details design and specifications for mechanical assembly and test equipment Performs unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and design expertise. Ensures that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved by the design/drawings produced. Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problem Present proposed design at the internal and customer design review Manager other designers to meet the overall requirements of the project Work closely with mechanical engineers, Project Managers, Controls Engineers, Electrical and Mechanical Build Technicians during different project phases Participate in or conduct weekly design meetings You must have prior success in designing custom-engineered solutions, capital equipment Qualifications BS degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical/electro engineering or equivalent work experience 8 plus years' experience in utilizing Solid Works and/or AutoCAD designing various automated test and assembly machines Knowledge of sound mechanical design principals, shop practices, and automation and test components. Strong communications skills, team oriented
