Essential Functions and Primary Duties:Oversee the strategy, governance, and technical implementation of the company’s data assets, ensuring data quality, consistency, accessibility, and compliance by defining policies, managing data integration, and establishing processes to effectively collect, store, and utilize data across the enterprise, often working closely with other IT and business departments to identify data needs and implement data solutions.Key responsibilities may include:Data Governance: Developing and enforcing data governance policies, including data ownership, access controls, data quality standards, and data usage guidelines. Data Integration: Implementing strategies to integrate data from multiple sources across the organization, ensuring consistency and eliminating data silos. Data Quality Management: Establishing processes to monitor and improve data quality, including data cleansing, validation, and deduplication. Metadata Management: Managing metadata to provide context and understanding about data elements, including lineage, usage, and definitions. Data Catalog Development: Creating a centralized data catalog to document and discover available data assets across the enterprise. Data Strategy Development: Defining the overall data strategy aligned with business objectives, identifying data needs, and prioritizing data initiatives. Data Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards. Technology Selection: Evaluating and implementing appropriate data management tools and technologies, such as data warehouses, data lakes, and data integration platforms. Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization to understand their data needs and ensure effective data usage.Required Skills:Strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data integration Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders Analytical skills to identify data issues and propose solutionsMinimum Qualifications Required:• Bachelor’s degree required; • 10 years of experience in related field • 5 years supervisory experience • Ability to manage deadlines • Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize accurately • Proficient use of applicable technology • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally (and externally as applicable) • Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills • Must be able to travel based on department needsPreferred Qualifications:• Master’s degree preferred in related field• Certification preferred #LI-MM2 #LI-Hybrid#LI-MM2 #LI-Hybrid
