In this role, you will be part of one of the recent most impactful medical advancements in patient care and work towards better outcomes for patients with hematological malignancies.We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as Associate Director within Global Medical Affairs Cell Therapy. The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs will work cross-functionally within Global Medical Affairs, Field medical teams and other cross-functional subject matter experts as well as key business partners to implement on tactics consistent with overall in-line and pipeline strategy. This position will report to the Head of Lymphoma Medical Strategy.Job ResponsibilitiesSupports on tactics such as advisory boards, publication review, protocol review, training etc. as needed Supports development and execution of the cross-functional product and disease strategy Support the development and update of a strategic scientific communication plan for the assigned product/therapeutic areaSupport Global core content meetings for cross-functional alignment across relevant global and regional stakeholdersSupports the development of standardized processes and systems that drive efficiency in Medical Affairs ActivitiesDevelops content for Medical Affairs teams, including slide decks, FAQs, and other resources to support the scientific communications strategyMaintains in-depth knowledge of Medical Affairs trends and KPIs to drive updates/revisions to these materialsSupports the crossfunctional development of communications platforms Ensures all MA content is up to date, aligned and consistent with medical planPartners with MA colleagues across regions to ensure medical content addresses prioritized field needsEnsures appropriate review, approval, and roll-out of global core content.Maintains on-going communication with MA asset leads, MA Field team, Evidence Generation Team representatives and other relevant functions to ensure alignment of materials with departmental and business strategiesCollaborate effectively and in a compliant manner with colleagues in other functional areas, e.g. Clinical Research, Sales and Marketing, Market Access, PVEBasic QualificationsDoctorate and 5+ years of medical affairs or oncology experienceORMaster’s and 8+ years of medical affairs or oncology experienceORBachelor’s and 10+ years of medical affairs or oncology experienceORAssociate and 12+ years of medical affairs or oncology experienceORHigh School Diploma/GED and 14+ years of medical affairs or oncology experiencePreferred Qualifications M.D., Pharm. D, PhD or qualification in Life Sciences, Immunology, or OncologyRelevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with an expertise in cell therapy and LymphomaProven track record within Medical AffairsExcellent communication skillsSound organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent judgment and ability to work in a team environmentProven ability to work across a cross functional matrixSelf-starter with “can do” attitudeBasic knowledge of budget and account managementAble to travel to domestic and international conferences (travel 35%)The work you do at Kite will help change how cancer is treated and ensure patients and their families have more time together. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
