About the RoleInvestCloud is currently searching for a Sr. HR Business Partner to join a fast-paced and innovative global HR team. The Sr. HR Business Partner serves as a director-level advisor to the company’s leaders across North America to help make decisions to meet business objectives. Taking a collaborative approach, the Sr. HR Business Partner provides consultation to inform and influence to achieve optimal outcomes on resource planning, employee relations, performance, and other HR matters.What does a great Sr. HR Business Partner do?The Sr. HR Business Partner is innovative in their collaboration with business leaders to develop and implement people strategy. Leveraging your HR expertise, communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, and knack for inspiring teamwork, you will partner with leaders across the organization to deliver business results. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role, so must be willing to work administratively and analytically, as well as consultatively with your client groups.How you will provide meaningful contributions:Build relationships with senior leaders to establish yourself as the primary contact on people related planning and issues; conducts weekly meetings with respective business unitsCollaborate with the HR leadership team to create and recommend employee engagement and retention strategiesProvide guidance and leadership in employee relations, interpreting complex employment laws and policies and making recommendations for improvementFacilitate and support the performance management and compensation review processes, while serving as a coach and advisor to leaders and managersConduct internal investigations related to employee issues and bring them to resolutionEnsure that the company is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations in accordance with the policies and practices of the companyEstablish strong partnerships with other departments including, HR Operations (Total Rewards, HRIS), IT Support, Training, and Payroll, to execute on prioritiesConsults with leaders on organizational effectiveness initiatives to include but not limited to: training initiatives, employee engagement, leadership development, change managementEvaluate and recommend revised internal processes to increase efficiency.Conduct organizational assessments to identify challenges and apply problem-solving skills to effectively and creatively handle moderate to complex situations involving but not limited to talent management, performance, talent acquisition, and retention strategiesAnalyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR leadership team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/requiredProvides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planningPerforms other related duties as assignedBasic Qualifications for Consideration:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or another related fieldTwelve (12) + years of progressive human resources experienceWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment lawsStrong interpersonal communication, coaching and listening skills, critical writing and thinking skills, an open-minded approach and ability to think on one’s feetAbility to deal with ambiguity, tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and demanding environmentsStrong analytical, reporting and presentation skillsExperience and confidence to take ownership for the full impact of project deliveryTechnical skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, demonstrated experience with HRISPreferred Skills / ExperiencePHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM SCP highly desiredExperience in a technology or professional services firm desiredAbout InvestCloudInvestCloud, a global leader in wealth technology, aspires to enable a smarter financial future. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location.
