The Opportunity
Responsibilities of this career opportunity includes performing routine accounting and data entry to accomplish accounts payable claims processing duties. Typical duties of the Accounting Tech are related to cash management, completing accounts payable claims, processing cash and payments received, assisting with coding of invoices in accordance with criteria established. In addition, this position is responsible for reconciling, researching, and resolving differences for vendor statements as well as preparing and entering deposits and other types of payments to general ledger accounts. It's important that the Accounting Tech be able to perform reviews for accuracy and completeness of cash receipts information and other type of deposits to Electronic Health Records System. Other duties include preparing accounting journal entries, performing reconciliation of accounting transactions, preparing requests for travel advances and reconciling travel advances and reimbursements, as well as reviewing and processing refunds and assisting in inventory tracking, coding, and ordering of items needed for day-to-day operations for facilities within PureView Health Center.

This career opportunity requires:
- High school diploma
- One (1) year experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or similar field
- Associates degree in accounting, business, bookkeeping or similar field preferred.
