We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to become a key part of our team. This newly established position is structured to provide a clear pathway to the CFO role, presenting a unique opportunity for advancement and leadership. With significant growth potential, this role offers broad exposure to corporate, fund-level, and property-level finance. Responsibilities:

• Supervise corporate accounting, financial reporting, and tax filings for corporate entities, private equity, and real estate investments.
• Lead the financial accounting and reporting of the company’s real estate funds.
• Manage a team including Corporate Controller, AP Manager, and AR Manager.
• Assist with capital planning, acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture structuring, and debt covenant compliance.
• Oversee corporate cash flow, payroll funding, invoice approvals, and owner distributions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in real estate finance with public/private mix preferred, especially in accounting structures, fund setups, and compliance.
• Required experience in fair value accounting and open-ended funds.
• Prior tax processing experience is a plus.
