We currently have an opening for a Vice President, Procurement & Supply Chain. The Vice President, Procurement & Supply Chain will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process globally. This role is essential in driving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement category and supply chain strategies to drive cost savings, ensure high-quality standards, and optimize the flow of materials.
- Evaluate and implement an effective Category Management strategy tailored to the PI Business needs.
- Provide expert advice and insights on procurement and supply chain-related matters to senior management.
- Manage procurement and supply chain budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
- Oversee the procurement process and supply chain operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimize costs, and ensure product availability.
- Act as a strategic partner to functions, understanding their needs and aligning procurement and supply chain strategies accordingly.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the team of procurement and supply chain professionals (direct and functional reports), fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, and driving employee motivation.
- Develop and build a point of view on how digital solutions can improve the way of working, leveraging technology to streamline processes and drive innovation.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve supply chain performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Possess 15+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in strategic procurement, supplier management, supply chain optimization, and contract negotiation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in procurement and supply chain management (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, contract, project, and change management skills.
- Strong leadership, financial acumen, budget management, and communication skills.
- Possess or able to obtain a valid passport.
- Ability to travel (globally) 40% of the time.
