Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a VP of Finance in the Los Angeles area in the Service and Manufacturing industry. As the VP of Finance, you would be responsible for the company's financial strategies including overseeing FP&A and regulation compliance. This role offers the opportunity to lead a finance team, drive financial success, and enhance your leadership and strategic thinking skills in a dynamic large organization. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies in line with organizational goals. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to provide insights into financial performance. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards and regulations. Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them and maintain internal controls. Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and maximize returns. Evaluate capital allocation decisions to support long-term growth and shareholder value creation. Improve financial systems, processes, and infrastructure for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA or CFA certification highly desirable. 5-7 years in management with a senior leadership role and at least 10-12 years in finance. Extensive knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to influence and collaborate effectively. Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate teams for exceptional results.
