Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Title: Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager Location: Boston, MA Role Overview: The Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role requires a strong background in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supply chain management, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and quality improvement. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to stay ahead of industry trends. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies. Manage supplier performance, including contracts, risk assessments, and performance reviews. Drive process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and sustainability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in Manufacturing. Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a proven track record of delivering cost savings. Proficient in procurement tools and software (e.g., SAP, Ariba). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices is a plus.
