Great American Media is seeking a growth-centric UI/UX Designer to transform our solutions for both linear and direct-to-consumer into user-friendly products for our clients. As a UI/UX Designer, your tasks will involve understanding user requirements, creating graphic elements, and constructing navigation components. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in design software and wireframe tools. Ideal candidates will be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Scottsdale, AZ office, Texas Headquarters in DFW or our New York City office (typically 3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Some travel may be required. The UX/UI Designer for Great American Pure Flix is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the marketing website and its assets to support the goals and objectives of the organization. From concept through implementation, the UX.UI Designer focuses on the user experience by incorporating the brand and best practices to provide a consistent and efficient user experience with an emphasis on conversion. This role is an integral member of the marketing operations team and will collaborate across teams to ensure the brand is consistent, user-friendly, and provides a collaborative message across all digital marketing channels. Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and assess user requirements. Visualize design concepts through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. Create graphic elements for the user interface, such as menus, tabs, and widgets. Construct navigation buttons and search fields for a seamless user experience. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that showcase site functionality and appearance. Generate original graphic designs, including images, sketches, and tables. Present initial design drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Identify and resolve UX issues, such as responsiveness and usability challenges. Make layout adjustments based on user feedback. Maintain consistency with style standards for fonts, colors, and images. Manage, improve and deploy marketing websites with updates and operational support. Collaborate with marketing and cross-channel teammates to support website design and content marketing (blog, email, UI design, landing pages, and more) that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience. Help bring new ideas for design to the team using industry expertise and eye for great design on brand-level web and graphic design projects. Utilize data and analytics to improve web design strategies/tactics. Collaborate with developers and other teams to deliver a solid user experience that is code efficient and functional on all devices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field. Demonstrated professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role. Minimum 1 year experience conceptualizing original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks. Minimum 1 year experience executing all visual design stages from concept to implementation. Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining scalable, highly visible websites. Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects. Proficiency in wireframe tools such as Figma, Wireframe.cc and InVision. Up-to-date knowledge of design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating a team spirit and strong communication skills. Good time-management skills to meet project deadlines. Take creative ownership for all aspects of the front facing marketing website. Excellent eye for design and intimate understanding of design elements. Experience with web standards such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Working knowledge of digital design software (Adobe Creative Suite). Professional experience with fundamental technologies and concepts, as well as responsive design. HubSpot Marketing Software Certification a plus. HubSpot Inbound Certification, HubSpot Contextual Certification, HubSpot Developer Certification preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience with HubSpot preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and debug complex design problems and effectively provide cross-team solutions. Comfortable launching and iterating quickly and using data strategically. Creative, open-minded, and enthusiastic about seeking new solutions to challenges. Excellent communicator, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
